We are committed to promoting mental health and wellness in our community and strive to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness through education, advocacy, and support.

  • Our counseling services are designed to provide family members with the tools they need to support their loved one's mental health and wellness, while also prioritizing their own well-being. These services include coping skills training, communication skills training, education and information, and self-care strategies. Coping skills help manage stress, anxiety, and other emotions associated with caring for a loved one with SPMI. Communication skills help communicate with the loved one in a supportive, non-judgmental way. Education and information help understand SPMI, available treatments, and support resources. Self-care strategies help maintain one's own mental and physical health.

  • Our counseling services are designed to help you manage life's stressors and build resiliency. Services offered include stress management techniques, mindfulness training, self-care strategies, and coping skills training. Stress management techniques involve developing effective stress management techniques to cope with the challenges of everyday life. Mindfulness training helps stay focused and present, while self-care strategies involve maintaining mental and physical health. Coping skills training involves developing effective coping skills to manage stress, anxiety, and other emotions associated with life stressors.

  • Our counselors are trained in evidence-based treatments for trauma, such as cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). They will teach you mindfulness and relaxation techniques to manage stress and anxiety and promote healing. They will also help you develop self-care strategies and coping skills to manage trauma-related symptoms, such as flashbacks, nightmares, and anxiety.

  • Our counseling services are designed to help young adults find their balance and thrive in all areas of their life. These services include anxiety and stress management, self-esteem and self-care, relationships and communication, career and life planning, and career and life coaching. Our counselors will help you develop effective strategies to manage anxiety and stress, develop a positive self-image, and teach you self-care strategies. They will also help you build healthy relationships with friends, family, and romantic partners. Additionally, they will help you identify your strengths and goals, and provide guidance and support as you plan for your future.

We specialize in trauma work with focus on adverse experiences and its impact on current life stressors. We use evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EDMR) to assist you in the process of transformation. In addition, we provide counseling for grief, loss, abuse, depression and anxiety.

    I am a mother, wife, veteran and clinician from the Northeast. I have grown my experience and passion for diverse populations.

    I have worked through struggles of clients, peers, coworkers, friends, and family. I have witnessed and experienced transitions in life phases, and I understand the impact it has on emotions, thoughts and actions.
